Just for the record, I am not normally actually online much. So if you see me in a chatroom or instant messenger, feel free to drop a line, but understand that MOST likely, I forgot to log out and aren't actually at my computer. For those who have made the effort only to have me not reply, I wasn't ignoring, you, I was just at work (or cleaning, or sleeping, or whatever).

Sorry! ;D

Hee!

Keep this up and I'm actually going to begin to believe I should spend more time designing alternative versions of Jetan and Jekaida.

Martian chess could use some improvements (though only in the same way that Quidditch could--people like it, so quibbling with it might not be worth it). What's Jekaida?

Jekaida is Martian Chess on steroids. :D It's from the equally over-large Dray Prescot series, only a few of which I have actually read.

It's spelled Jikaida, apparently. My bad for trying from memory. rulkes can be found online, but basically it's a chess variant played on siz connected chess boards, where pieces have rules about when they can cross from one board to another. It's freaky. There are rules online.

All too often I just... don't.

Thank you for the heads up. :) I know how it can be I typically log in then wander off. I actually lost a friend once who wouldn't believe that I wasn't ignoring them. Such is the world of cyber.

Yeah, I hate unknowingly leaving ymself online. It's like accidentally saying "Hi!" to someone while you're actually at a movie theater twelve miles away.
